Hello!

I'm Daisy. I'm a recent graduate (Class of 2024) of the SUNY Buffalo State University Garman Art Conservation Department, completing a yearlong fellowship in Objects Conservation at Harpers Ferry Center for Museum Conservation in Charles Town, West Virginia.
Before being accepted into the graduate program at Buffalo, I got my BFA in metalsmithing and printmaking with a minor in Art History from Rowan University in southern New Jersey, near where I grew up.
My pre-program internships took place mostly in Philly at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Barnes Foundation, and in private practice, but along the way I also moved to New York City for a summer to work as a monument conservation technician in Central Park. Once I got to Buffalo, I did one more summer internship at the Maine State Museum in 2022 before settling back into school to finish my thesis work on a Victorian-era taxidermy bird life group. I finished out grad school with a 3rd-year placement at the Harvard Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology where I worked mostly with woven plant fiber textiles from Micronesia.
